Manaseer Information Technology Co. signed an agreement with the Ministry of Education on Tuesday, corresponding to 12 December, included the implementation of the e-learning system "NoorSpace" , which enables teachers, students and parents to apply modern technology in view of all aspects related to the education process, to be duly monitored.
The concerned system also covers the assessment of students' performance and learning to get acquainted with the education decisions at the school-level, making all the educational content available electronically.
The agreement was signed by the Representative of the Manaseer Information Technology Co. and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Manaseer Group Mr. Muin Qadda and H.E Minister of Education Dr. Omar Al Razzaz as a Representative of the Ministry.
The Minister of Education H.E Dr. Omar Al Razzaz, expressed his deep satisfaction with the agreement, indicating that this agreement comes as a result of efforts made to enhance partnership between the public and private sectors, and build bridges between them, with a view to creating a role model in launching and managing the pilot and national projects. Further to that, Al Razzaz added that "this system will further promote the use of technology in education by the exchange of information and data on the students and their educational performance, and will strengthen the relationships among all the educational system components, including the school principals, teachers and parents."
Dr. Al Razzaz expressed gratitude to Manaseer Group for its support to the education sector, proceeding from its primary social responsibility. Moreover, he also commended the role of technical departments in Manaseer Group, as well as the Ministry of Education in developing the concerned system, in line with the Ministry's policy dedicated in using technology in education.
"This agreement enshrines the partnership between the public and private sectors to provide the Ministry of Education with free services, aiming at building the future generation and using the modern technology to support the education process," Qadda said; pointing out that this cooperation constitutes a real impetus for the education renaissance and development, through involving all target groups and beneficiaries in the community to create an integrated environment among all components related to the education process.
NoorSpace System represents the integrated relationship with the Education Management Information System OpenEMIS, of which the Ministry is now implementing and supporting its function. Accordingly, the concerned system provides a database of the educational resources that enable teachers, students and parents to benefit from the modern technology in preparation for lessons, understanding of school materials, besides the internal correspondence system among the educational process' parties, thus enhancing the communication with one another rapidly enough.
